I’m Mariana — I work from my studio in Amsterdam Noord with jewellery, rust prints, mycelium, plant roots and leaves.

Materials that are alive, that decay, that leave traces. I don’t control these processes entirely; I collaborate with them. My practice is one long inquiry into what matter leaves behind — and what that tells us about living.
